The City of Lakewood has invested well over $100M in transportation improvements over the last several years and has planned for an additional $32.8M in roads.
$24 million is allocated for Parks and Recreation improvements, excluding a new Downtown park and a major renovation of the “H” Barn at Fort Steilacoom Park to create an events center. The goal is to attract 9,000 new housing units and 9,000 new jobs by 2044.
While Lakewood is fairly well built out, many properties are vacant or underutilized. Click on the target areas below for more detailed maps.
